'I am me' is a beautifully illustrated children's book written by our very own Sue Hampton.

'I am me 2' picture book is a companion to the fundraising ‘I am me’ which has raised over £3000 for People not Borders to spend on child refugees.  This time the illustrations are the haunting photographs of young Syrian Abdulazez Dukhan and were taken during his years in refugee camps in Greece and Turkey. The text explores the experience of a child in a camp in Greece – Lesvos perhaps, or Samos – capturing the spirit of such children with sensitivity and warmth, It’s sadder than ‘I am me’,  and perhaps suitable for a slightly older reader (age 5 – 8?) but at its heart is the importance of family, love and hope.

Please help us to raise awareness and support child refugees.
